Document Security

We provide 3 layers document securities, including -

128 bit SSL data encryption over the Internet Transmission

Document is protected by Encrypting Key

All the data transmission from your desktop to backup server is protected by 128-bit SSL.

Backup data will be sent to our backup server(s) located in New World Telecom data center, and at the same moment, it will be replicated to iAdvantage data center for secondary backup storage.

Encrypting key is a user-defined text. It is to protect user data privacy. It encrypts the document before sending to the server. Anyone, (including Website Solution) without your encrypting key, cannot restore your document.

Note: Open File Backup requires Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows 2003 and the backup user must have admin rights to create Volume Shadow Copy for the Open File Backup process.

Service Plan

	Monthly Fee (HK$)
Each Licensed User :	HK$25
Every 5GB storage	HK$50
(Minimum usage: 1 licensed user plus 5GB storage)

For example, if you have 1 computer and is using 5GB storage,
the monthly fee is HK$25 + HK$50 = HK$75

Or if your have 2 computer (a desktop plus a notebook), and is sharing 5GB storage,
the monthly fee is 2 x HK$25 + HK$50 = HK$100

Or if your company have 10 staff plus 1 file server, and is sharing 30GB backup storage,
the monthly fee is (10 + 1) x HK$25 + 6 x HK$50 = HK$575.

Reference

5GB storage can support 12,000 MS Word Document backups.
(assuming - on average, each word document is 400KB in size, compressed size is the 60% of the original (i.e. 240KB after compression), and each document has 1 - 2 modification history)
